It is pertinent here to mention that both the sisters had previously ended their ties due to the family and political oppositions.

Islamabad: For the first time in political history of Pakistan, two sisters from a reputable and influential family of the country have been termed ineligible for parliamentary. They have been removed from their Senate positions owing to the charge of holding fake degrees. Their nomination for particular seats and win over in the 2008 year held elections have held them incompetent.
The two sisters, namely Ayla and Sumaira Malik have had changed their political associations previously.  Earlier being affiliated to former COAS and President’s political party, Pakistan Muslim League (Q), both of the ladies have left their membership.
Ayla Malik has joined Imran Khan’s Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) while Sumaira Malik is now part of the ruling government, PML-N, the Nawaz league.
It is sad to see such a state of the rulers of the society who being less educated have taken oath of maintaining the rules and regulations of the country. The leaders themselves are the violators of the set standards. Changing parties being no harm to the individual but such figures are a ‘burden’ to the whole state.
