GENEVA: A landmark deal with Iran on its controversial nuclear programme does not give Tehran a right to enrich uranium, US Secretary of States John Kerry said Sunday.
"This first step does not say that Iran has the right of enrichment, no matter what interpretative comments are made, " Kerry told reporters.
He spoke shortly after Iranian Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif had said the deal sealed Sunday with world powers contained a "clear reference that enrichment will continue".
