Karachi: On a program hosted by one of the TV hosts, Paras Khursheed, Ansar Abbasi and Iftikhar Ahmed, two reputable names of journalism field got into arguments, ending up into exchange of hot words. The program titled ‘News Beat’ called upon the editor of ‘The News ‘newspaper, Ansar Abbasi while other two, Iftikhar Ahmed Chaudhary and Kashif Shafi were taken on video call to add their views.
The show was held discussing the topic of calling particular sectarian group as ‘martyrs’. The deep rooted definition of terrorism in Pakistan has led to several questions and given various perceptions to people.
Ansar Abbasi giving his views on the topic said that our beloved Holy Prophet (Peace Be Upon Him) had never attacked any person in return. Hence, there shall remain no question of justifying the terror attacks. After Abbasi gave the statement, Iftikhar said that he should ask his ‘companions’ to end up the terror attacks, since enforcing Islamic Shariah through use of arms is unacceptable.

Ansar raged in anger and said that Ahmed has made a ‘Fatwa’ on is persona without listening to him. To which Iftikhar said that he has not made a ‘fatwa’ but expressed his opinions. There then became a long fight between the two speakers who kept opinions of each other with out giving the other chance to listen and speak.

Ansar said that Iftikhar has misinterpreted his words. Paras, the host had to take break to end up the conversational fight between the two.
